Not too bothered by me, a White-Crowned Sparrow grabs a seed pod on the end of a small branch as I walked by during lunch. This is just one of several random shots I’ve been taking lately as I check out my replacement for my Canon 30D. Last week I got a good deal on a Canon 60D, and so far am really liking it.
One of the big differences between the 30D and the 60D is 10 megapixels. With the 60D’s 18 megapixels I was able to crop much tighter that I would have been able to with the 30D and still get a printable image.
Taking another look at the image my guess is the sparrow isn’t really concerned about lunch. Someone looks like they may be getting a new nest soon.
